My friend Russ Taff and I were sitting around one day, trying to think of a song, and we decided to write about what we most feared. At some point in the conversation we realized the fear of losing love, or not being loved again, was what scared us the most. Whether you're talking about a person, or a higher power, it's the worry that you will fail, and not be able to rise again, that holds us back. This is where we went with it.
