The original craftsmanship that has been put into this Bozo is astounding with a beautiful Marquetry rosette, and Custom Abalone & MOP inlays on the fretboard. The Brazilian Rosewood is top quality and gives a big boomy open sound with powerful warm overtones that remind you why Brazilian is the most expensive tonewood. topped off with a Cedar top that cuts through the mixes like with power and carries a warm resonance wherever the sound waves may land. Featuring a comfortable round C shape neck, and an LR Baggs Anthem pickup, this Bozo is ready for the stage, or the studio.

This Guitar was previously owned by Grammy Nominated Singer-Songwriter & author Janis Ian. This Guitar has been played all over the world on countless tours & songwriting sessions with the wear and tear to prove it!

This Pre-Owned Guitar is in Good Condition w/ scratches and dings throughout the entire instrument. There is a small repaired crack on the top side of the guitar but besides that it is very stable and sounds amazing!

Bozo Guitars

Bozo Podunavac (pronounced bo-zho pod oo nav ack) is a Serbian born master luthier / guitar builder who imigrated to the U.S. in 1959. He was raised in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, served a very prestigious apprenticeship with master luthier Milutin Miadenovic and graduated in 1950. After Bozo graduated he moved to Chicago, and started working in the repair department of a musical instrument dealer and manufacturer. Bozo saved up his own money and was able to open his own shop and began building guitars with the name "BOZO" on the peghead. Bozo apprenticed in the old world tradition of his homeland, and relishes building highly ornate instruments. He left Chicago in the mid 70's and moved to Southern California where he opened up another shop in San Diego along with a brand new school of lutherie. Recently Bozo relocated again, this time to Florida and continued to offer his guitar services there all the way up until his death in 2015.
