Janis has always been an innovator; in 1979 she produced the very first concert DVD ever. Unfortunately, the DVD player itself was not invented until 1995, so these discs never really caught on. We recently unearthed these in a cave outside of Las Vegas, where they had languished for decades next to a inexplicable stack of 100,000 copies of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots are Made for Walking", and now are pleased to offer these rare discs for your viewing pleasure...
Actually, this is a DVD made from the original, long out-of-print tapes of the 1979 Japan/Australia tour. See Janis at her absolute funkiest! WE HAVE LOTS OF THESE TOO - DON'T PANIC, WE WON'T RUN OUT!
Includes: Let Me Be Lonely At Seventeen Get Ready To Roll Will You Dance Fly Too High Silly Habits You Are Love Here Comes The Night I Remember Yesterday Memories Love is Blind In The Winter
We're helping the green movement by phasing out those large plastic DVD boxes (the kind you can never get open in the store…), and switching to these cardboard digipaks from our friends at Oasis..
