Many of our CDs are imported, and therefore not shrink-wrapped. Sometimes, U.S. residents assume that means they're used. We guarantee that unless clearly specified, all CDs sold on this site are brand new!

* A note about quality: Every CD Rude Girl Records controls, from the 1972 Stars album to our most current project, has been remastered from the best sources available, and features the entire original artwork package - often with additional notes by Janis. If there was no need to re-master because the original was recorded optimally under Janis' direct control, we still pay close attention to the manufacturing and duplication to ensure the highest quality available goes to you. Whenever possible, we have remastered from the original analog tapes - on Best of Janis Ian, with Sony's cooperation, all the old material was done that way. Please check individual CD listings for more information on this. We believe the CDs we carry offer the listener the best audio and graphic quality out there. If the Rude Girl logo is on it, you know Janis herself served as the quality control manager!
