Please read ALL of the instructions below! Digital songbooks are a very new piece of technology; apparently, a lot of people have trouble with the process and make mistakes. The mistakes all come from not reading the instructions below.

This is a electronic version of the original 86 page songbook for the Grammy Award winning Between the Lines album, originally printed in 1975. We went into the archives, picked our best copy and scanned it into .pdf format. Not just the vocal, guitar and piano notation, the songbook also contains notes from Janis and photographs from both the studio and the tour.
We had to unbind all of the pages to deliver the best quality document possible. In other words, we had to destroy OUR copy to make yours...and the guy who bound this copy got a little crazy with the glue, so you will see that a bit in the margins of a few of the pages. But don't feel guilty that we don't have an intact copy of this songbook in the archives anymore...just buy the songbook file, print it up, and that old songbook will live on!
When this item is purchased, the buyer will be provided a link to download a 7MB .pdf file containing the entire songbook, including front and back covers, Table of Contents, and foreword, as well as all the charts. The buyer can then print the file on their printer, view it on thier computer, or even take it to a print house for printing on high quality stock and binding.
Note! Facilities such as Kinko's may object to printing and/or binding this because of copyright protection concerns. We have included a permissions note on the very last page.Believe it or not, we had to get permission to do this ourselves. We thank our friends at EMI Japan and Hal Leonard for their willingness to experiment with this new paradigm!

Place seperate orders for anything else, including other songbooks; strange things may happen to your freight charges otherwise. It's not our fault, really.
